About Our Board and Trains!

Board and Trains are a great option for your dog training needs, especially if you do not have the time to dedicate to daily training. During these programs, your dog will stay with our trainer and get structured training multiple times throughout the day, to work on their mindset, learn the commands, and get socialization around different distractions, for the duration of their board and train. By the end of their program, your dog will have a solid foundation on basic commands and be E-collar trained for off leash reliability. Your ability to maintain the training after the board and train will determine how much your dog retains and for how long.

Our programs start with teaching your dog how to respond to food lure, leash pressure, and vocal commands. Once they have an understanding of what is being asked, we start to increase the duration of the commands and distractions. We only start introducing the E-collar once your dog knows how to respond to pressure and has a foundation of basic commands. Our 4 week program offers better retention of skills, a deeper foundation, and gives us time to work on confidence without pushing your dog too hard, too fast, compared to other 2 week programs. This is what makes us different from other board and train companies. We take the time to ensure that your dog understands what's being asked before the E-collar is ever put on, while other companies use the E-collar to teach the basics.

2+2 Board and Train

During this program we split the 4-Week Board and Train into 2 separate stays. During the first portion your dog will learn the 3 different languages (food lure, leash pressure, vocal commands) and start getting around distractions and working on duration. They will then get to go home for a few weeks while continuing to practice what they learned with YOU. During the second stay we continue building on the first stay and learn E-collar communication for off leash reliability. This program is great for younger dogs, as we can build a foundation when they are 4-5 months old and they can come back between 6-9 months for more advanced training during their adolescent phase, or for those that don't want to be away from their dog for 4 weeks straight.
