Behavior Modification 

Our Behavior Modification Program is designed for dogs struggling with more serious reactivity or aggression. Using balanced training methods, we create a clear structure that supports both the dog and the owner throughout the process.

 

This program begins with preparatory lessons before the 6-week Board and Train, allowing your dog to gradually become familiar with the trainer in a safe, low-pressure environment. This initial phase helps ensure the safety of the trainer and supports the dog’s emotional well-being.

 

During the 6-week Board and Train portion your dog will stay with the trainer for the duration of the Board and Train. Dogs dealing with aggression and severe reactivity need more structure to help overcome these issues, which is why this Board and Train differs from other Board and Train options. We want to make sure we can work them through their issues without causing added stress. 

 

We tailor the program to meet your dog’s specific needs and work with you to build your confidence as a leader. Reactivity and aggression often stem from uncertainty, and when an owner’s confidence wavers, that energy travels down the leash. Our goal is to help you understand your dog, set clear boundaries, and develop the leadership skills needed to guide them toward lasting behavioral change.

Lessons and board and train duration can be adjusted based on the goals of the client and the severity of the dog. If more weeks need to be added it will be $600 per week.
